We’ve leveraged our expertise to carefully select the most exhilarating lines and pristine snow for this journey. Our meticulously-planned itinerary promises an intense alpine touring experience, ideal for those eager to experience the Kaçkars’ legendary terrain for the first time.

The Kaçkar Mountains are renowned for their unparalleled touring conditions, thanks to their elevated position by Black Sea and location near the coldest plateaus in eastern Turkey. This unique geography ensures fantastic off-piste conditions, which is why the northern Kaçkars are also the country’s premier heliskiing destination.

Our tour will take you to altitudes of 3,000 meters and beyond, allowing you to access the region’s finest powder and longest ski lines. We will traverse high passes, explore wooded areas, and carve our way down the majestic peaks, immersing ourselves in the tranquil remoteness of this pristine landscape.

The Skiing

We offer a meticulously-curated itinerary for advanced ski tourers with a high level of fitness, ranging from 1,930 to over 3,000 metres in altitude. The first days are easier going from 1,930 to 2,600 metres building up to longer adventures.

The last two days are dedicated to cat skiing so you can get as many turns in as possible and rest your uphill legs. Starting from Meredet cat-ski base at 2,100 m, guests can either join a group or can book a private package.

There will be four to eight drops per day depending on snow conditions, length of runs and weather. The last day will be a descent all the way back to the accommodation through the trees.
