The Verbier Ski Area

Verbier is the jewel in the crown of the world-renowned Four Valleys ski area in south west Switzerland, famous for its extensive and varied piste network and as an off-piste mecca. Rising 1,800 metres from the resort to a maximum altitude of 3,300 metres, the ski area provides single-ticket access to the Four Valleys network with 95 lift installations, 410 km of pistes, and numerous patrolled off-piste itineraries for the more experienced skier. Verbier is a village that is renowned for its nightlife and world class mountain and village restaurants. If skiing is not your thing, there are numerous other activities to keep you busy for the week while you enjoy all the comforts in one of our luxury chalets in Verbier.

Ski Instruction

There are a plethora of ski schools in Verbier. The team at Chalamar have skied in Verbier for many years and we know all the schools and many of the instructors personally.

We can help you find the ideal private instructor or group class whether you’re looking for help with your off-piste technique or a fun week on snow for the kids.

Mountain Guides and Heli-skiing

Verbier is world-renowned for its extensive and challenging off-piste skiing. There is no better way to explore the hidden powder caches, high altitude glaciers, and steep couloirs than hiring a guide for the day.

For the ultimate ski or snowboard experience, heli-skiing is also available. There are three high altitude drop zones offering some of the Alps’ most stunning views and rewarding descents. Petit Combin, Trient Glacier, and Rosablanche are all within a short flight.
