With an overall living space of 480m2, Apartment Alex comfortably accommodates twelve guests in six beautifully furnished bedrooms, and is a great choice for large groups of friends or families.
The entrance to the apartment is on the first floor where the bedrooms are located. Bright and spacious, each bedroom has a balcony, an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and power shower, and can be set up as a double or twin. In addition, the two master bedrooms have uninterrupted views of the iconic Matterhorn.
An elevator leads up to the living and dining areas on the top floor. The space is bright and airy with double height ceilings and large sliding doors opening onto the furnished south-facing balconies with Matterhorn views. Two sitting areas with large, comfy sofas set round beautiful stone fireplaces provide plenty of space for everyone to relax and swap stories after a day on the mountain. There are also two dining areas with seating for up to twenty guests, and two well-equipped kitchens. With two comfortable TV rooms to choose from, there is ample space for everyone in the group to find a quiet spot to unwind with their favourite movie or curl up with a book.
Guests staying at Apartment Alex have shared use of the tranquil spa area situated on the lower ground floor of the building. The swimming pool, sauna, hammam and dedicated massage room are shared with four-bedroom Apartment Elena. There are also shared ski lockers and shared laundry facilities.
It’s possible to ski to back to the chalet via the Moosweg piste. You can ski down to the Matterhorn Express lift over the meadows in front of the building. Winkelmatten is a fifteen-minute walk from the centre of the resort, which can also be easily reached by a local bus service or electro-taxi.
